do your items ever change names like i have 4 tamagotchis that i take care of and 3 for my friends on one of mine it said honey and the other love potion and maracas and the other said racquets.

Are they different versions? The names of the items might have changed between one version and another.

Items can be called different things depending on whether they are Connexion (note: even Australian Connexions can vary to European Connexions), or Connection, and they can vary between V2s and V3s. I've never had them vary in what they are called on the same tamagotchi - but I don't think that is what you are referring to?

Well I have a Australian Connexion and a Australian Version 3 and there both called "Honey".
