Getting money is easy if you use the wishing well. It is 2 bucks to get a wish. Most of the time it will tell you that you can get something special if you dig. Walk a few steps away and dig. It will give you an item you can resell at the General store for 25 bucks. Do this a couple of times, and the next time you stop at the General store you could make a couple hundred bucks.
