my tama turned three but it didnt evolve why?

Some tamas don't evolve into adults untill they are 4 years old.

i did a so called 'cheat' to make my tama age faster but now its not agng at all, it has been 2 days since then(i did the cheat when i was 1) so my tama should be 3 but its only 1 still, PlEaSe HeLp!!!

It'd help if you'd explain what the cheat was.
