Had tama for a week and only 1 year old!

My son has had his tamagotchi connexion for a week and it is only 1 year old. I've been reading that is is supposed to age a year a day?? Is this true and do i have a dodgy one??

Also.. my son lost instructions before i could read them (he recieved it as a present while on holidays friends) and i have been reading copy of instructions om another site and it says i'm supposed to have a "Dance" game.. we do not have this game. We only have "Jump".. "Bump" and "Heading"... what version tamagotchi do i have then??

Please help as i have become addicted to sons toy!!!! LOL

"connexion" is different than "connection". You are probably reading tamagotchi connection instructions. ^_^

The only reason I can think of as to why your son's tamagotchi's not aging properly is that perhaps he's "pausing" it.

When you pause tamagotchis, their growth stops. Time and date goes on, but the tama's frozen. Tell him not to pause his tama.

I suspect you're talking about a connexion version 2.

it might just be the time you set it on because i have a friend and her tamagotchi was only one and it was an adult and for the games i do not know.
