What's with the X's and not working?

Ok, my sister's Tama keeps having this big X go across the screen, then in the middle of the big X is a box with a smaller X inside. If any buttons are pushed it sometimes puts two rows of barcodes up and buzzes, or just goes totally blank. This happens anywhere from 1 minute to two days. She can reset it and then redownload her Tama but the X's never fail. But the biggest problem is that she just bought it on Aug 10th, so it's new. My sister needs HELP!

I think it's ran out of battries or it's a glitch.

Well it's new, so the batteries shouldn't be worn out yet... maybe is a glich

I would say that it ran out of battery.

If it's new, you might have gotten a faulty battery.... Since I'm sure that's the low-battery-warning sign. Just get a new battery.
