my tama won't evolve!

no only when i'm at school but its the summer holidays and it has not been paused for more than 2 hours at a time

If you pause it too much, and ignore it (but still take care of it SOMETIMES), it won't evolve..In real life if you had a puppy, and you don't take good care of it, chances are that it won't grow fast. My friend paused her tamagotchi for 1 month because she went camping and she wasn't allowed to bring it with her, now her tamagotchi is 30 yrs old and it's still a child. o_0 But now your tamagotchi is still 5 and it's teen so that wouldn't be a big problem..just try not to pause it too much!
