I have a really old kind of tamagotchi. It's purple and has no connecting thing I think it is called a Generation 2 Tamagotchi or something. It evolved into an adult which looks like a dog (I think that character is called Pochitchi). Does anyone still have one of these 'old' tamagotchis?

I used to have 3, but I lost them all, lol. At the moment I'm just an osu/mesu chickeh, though I do have a connection.

I have 2 tamagotchis i have a VERY old purple on its like from 1996!

I just received the gen 1 Hong Kong limited edition (I liked the colors).

I have three of the old ones, and an Angel. The dog character is extremely hard to get and is the result of perfect care! Congrats, I've only gotten that one once

I have tried and tried but not got him.
The first time my friend played, she got him! Well, at least I got to see him on her tamagotchi.

I also got one of them not to long ago.I just received the gen 1 Hong Kong limited edition (I liked the colors).
They are really fun! I like them. They are now-a-days refreded to as : P1/Gen1 -or - P2/Gen2. The only thing is that the buttens respond so slowly.

Yeah, I think that's one of the main reason why I don't play with mine more -- the buttons are slow and it drives me crazy!

Same here... But, i do find the time to play with them... but the buttens is just so anoingYeah, I think that's one of the main reason why I don't play with mine more -- the buttons are slow and it drives me crazy!

Back to the buttons thing... it is annoying but the angel and morino are the same way.

I don't really remember the buttons being slow, maybe because it's been so long since I've played with an old tama.

Try it sometime, you will notice immediately! The buttons on the Connections respond quickly, and then you'll notice the older ones have a second delay... doesn't seem like much, but it's annoying
