Yes but if u connect alot when an adult (It has to be boy and girl) and i meen alot and tthen when they have fully fallen in love just keep on connecting and if u get ur female tama a present they will mate at some time.

The matchmaker's purpose is to make it possible to create tamaprogeny for a single tamagotchi. She shows a random possible mate and it's an "arranged marriage" if you choose to use this function.

I have another matchmaker question.. Does the matchmaker EVER show up on the Keitai??? My Ame-chan is already ten and still no sign of the matchmaker...

I've mated a few times (that includes today as well). It is much nicer when you have the sound on because there are nice little noises!I connected with one of my friend's tamagotchi and they became mates...it was really cute!
