Have you been pausing it? Pausing it delays it's growth.

 
ya it does.. and i think it doubles it..

ex. like if ur teen is supposed to evolve into and adult in 3 days, and u pause it for 3 days, it will take 6 days

Has it been asleep for a long time? I mean, if it is sleeping all the time then it ages but doesn't transform. Just keep it awake. Or maybe there is something wrong with your Tama. Is this your 1st generation 1st release? Have you ever reset your Tama? Maybe you pressed the button too hard. Have you debugged it and then got rid of the debug? If it is not that, has it fallen in water? If not, I don't know. :huh:

 
If you pause it, then your Tamagotchi will keep on growing slower and slower.
