...She stared at the screen anxiously, as the beeping continued and the screen started to flicker. She hoped it would turn into a good character, she did take excellent care of it, after all, as all--or at least most new tamagotchi owners do. She hoped it wouldn't turn into a mimitchi though, she thought those were ugly...Beep! Once again, her tama's beep cut into her thoughts. She gawked at her tamagotchi. Bobbing around on her black-and-red tama's screen was what she thought was the most adorable character she had ever seen, but she didn't know what it was. It was a small black starlike character, with wings and a halo. It looked alot like the star character on the keitai, but something was different. She couldn't quite place what it was though. She abruptly snapped her head up after seeing someone out of the corner of her eye. A really cute guy was staring at her strangely. She quickly closed her mouth and stuffed Chu back into her hoodie pocket, her face flushing a deep red. She briskly walked away, glad noone was on the next street.

Once she got home, she tossed her backpack onto the couch and jogged upstairs, to the room she shared with her twin. Once there, she found Kim on the computer. She didn't turn around, or show any sign she knew Kristie was there. "Hey Kim." Kristie said rather loudly. Kim turned around and stared at her surprisedly. "Oh! Hi Kristie!" " "Whoops, sorry I startled you. What's up?" Asked Kristie. "Uhh..." Kim thought for a minute "Oh! Chi changed today. Into a really wierd character." "Really? Chu did too. Into a wierd character, I mean. What does yours look like?" Asked Kristie, rather curiously. "I'll only show you if you show me Chu!" Said Kim wryly. Kristie laughed softly and pulled out her black tamagotchi from her hoodie pocket, as Kristie pulled her pink one out of the computer desk drawer. They both gasped in unison as they looked at each other's tamagotchis. "Umm... there's nothing here Kristie... did it reset or something? No, wait, the clock still works..." "There's nothing on yours either..." Said Kristie. "Lets google it." Chimed in Kim. "Maybe it's a character trait, since we both don't know what character we have. What did your character look like?" "It was a black star, with wings and a halo."Sighed Kristie. "That's strange... my character was almost exactly like that, except it was white." "Ok, that's nice." Said Kristie tiredly. "I'm really sleepy, could you wake me up in an hour, please?" "Sure. I'll tell you what I find on google too."Said Kim. "M'kay." Mumbled Kristie, as she fell asleep.

Stars... all she knew was stars. There was a clear and pure sense everywhere, and a slightly digital feel. She saw a flash to her left, and had to shield her eyes at the brightness...
