Okay so I really wanted an origanal tamagotchi before the connections came out so my aunt had one in her closet and she gave it to me. it was really cool, but now it has run out of batteries I bought the right kind but the screws are so small on the back that I can't open it :D , not even with a watch screwdriver. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help me! You know how to prey it open or something?

If you help me I would be so greatfull :D :D

First off, this thread should be in the help section, not comments and rumors... anyway try an eyeglass repair kit that you can get at any drug store.

Oh, I've had this problem many times, ebil screws.

If the screwdriver isn't unscrewing it, try seeing if you have any oil, and put a very tiny bit on the screws. It works, I had to do this when debugging, and changing the batteries on my Osu/Mesu.

Okay that may work but the thing is the I've tried to unscrew it so manyt imes that now the screw is staerting to loose shape.

Then put a bit of oil on, let it sink in for a bit, maybe a night? And then try unscrewing before the screw totally loses shape.

Once the screws are stripped, it's almost impossible to get them to come out. You need a Phillips Screwdriver, you don't want a flat edge because they just make the situation worse and strip the screws even more.

I hope you didn't strip them completely, I've done that with a couple of mine before I found out the tricks and what exact tools I needed and now those tamagotchis are purely decoration. If you do manage to get the screws out, replace them! Don't try to put those old ones back in because when you try to change the batteries the next time, you won't be able to get them out.
