Saving hearts from the Snake or eating plant

Hi:

Sometimes if you buy a plant, shovel, or treasure chest and use them, you will get a snake eating you or the plant will eat, you etc.

After it eats you, if you go to your health section, all your hearts will be empty because of the experience.

But if after you see the snake appear or you see the plant about to chomp down on you, you immediately put it in pause mode (press A and hold while pressing B button) Your tamagotchi will be put into pause.

After taking it off pause, if you look at your health, it should be untouched by the experience.
