why is my tama a teen and its o yrs old?

Relax. Tamagotchis usually evolve into teens 24hrs after they change into children, when they are one. Sometimes, pausing messes up the Age Counter and they change early. Once I had a Tamagotchi that changed into and ADULT when it was 2, had a baby when it was five and left when it was 6. Some Tamagotchis just can't wait to grow up! The Age Counter should catch up, but it can be glitchy, and might not change at all! Either way, nothing "bad" should happen.

Try reading my topic in this forum, 'Glitch List'. Sometimes downloading plays a part in messing up the age counter.

whenit turns into a teen a bit later it should become 1 yrs old

This has happened to my friends tamagotchi. If you have downloaded your tamagotchi lately, it will still evolve, but not age. Within the next 24-36 hours, your tamagotchi will start aging like normal again
