Dear Mommy,

Since my message is on a postcard it will have to be brief. Today on my first day of school I had TONS of fun! I met some new people, and we're doing rotary, or rotating from classroom to classroom, as you might call it. I just love school!! So anyways, I've gotta go now, see you soon!!!

U R 2 good 2 B 4gotten,

Sophie

I looked up from what I had just written and sighed deeply. It had been a great day. I met lots of new tamas, and oh so much more... wait, let me get it all down for you.

Recap of events

I walked into the school and looked around. There were tamas hurrying everywhere!!

Wow, I thought as I walked. This place sure is huge!

"Now remember, Sophie," Mimi told me as we walked along. "My locker is right beside yours, so you should be okay. You should make many friends. You're a human. There's a lot you can do. Tamas like humans. It will be fine!"

"Who's our teacher?" I asked.

"Well, the girl's homeroom teacher is Ms. Swirl. She's a Memetchi," Ichi told me.

"And the boy's homeroom teacher?" I asked, wanting to know.

"Mr. Mame. He's a Mametchi," Mimi said promptly.

*DING DING DING*

"Oh!" I cried. "Is that the second bell?!"

"Yes, and that means we have to get to class fast! It's a warning bell," Mimi explained.

"Oh, I see. Come on, let's go!" I said, and followed Mimi and Ichi.

When we got to the classroom, I saw lots of tamas and kids.

Of the humans, I saw Jessie, Mikachu, Maddie, Lily, and lots of other girls I did not know.

Of the tamas, there were 2 Young Dorotchis, 3 Tamatchis, 1 Nikatchi, 4 Young Mimitchis, 2 Ichigotchis, 6 Ringotchis, 5 Young Memetchis, and 1 Hikotchi.

Ms. Swirl really was our teacher!

"Welcome, all new human and tama students! I hope you have a great time here, and I wish you all luck in getting some of the best grades!" she said, smiling.

"What were your marks on your last report card?" I whispered to Mimi.

"In Smartness/Intelligence, I have 354, in Fashion/Style, I have 203, and in Passion/Kindness, I have 329," Mimi told me.

I whispered the same to Ichi.

"In Smartness/Intelligence, I have 264, in Fashion/Style, I have 456, and in Passion/Kindness, I have 342," she said.

Wow, those were some kinds of grades. I wondered what the next three classes would be like...

*Intelligence Class!!*

I walked into the classroom, and took a seat.

"Today, we will be learning multiplication in math!" Mr. Turtlepedia announced.

Sounds easy enough, I thought.

1. 3x4

Answer: 12

2. 5x5

Answer: 25

3. 4x2

Answer: 8

4. 6x3

Answer: 18

5. 10x10

Answer: 100

I handed it in.

Later that day, I got it back.

5/5!!

There was a note attached to it too: You are very smart. Your Smartness/Intelligence status will boost by 15. You have 15 Smartness/Intelligence points.

I was very happy. At first recess I met Maka the Young Mametchi, Kuchikia the Young Dorotchi. Those two are very nice. Polite. Cute. Wonderful! I was very happy.

That's all for now! I'll tell you about the next classes tomorrow!!

To be continued....
