:P My LCD screen is broken. It was supposedly dropped on the ground -- I suspect it was stepped on or more thoroughly thwacked. Anyway, does anyone know of somewhere I can just get the little LCD screen component, or do I have to buy a new one?

I'd appreciate any advice you have. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can't fix it. =( But you could go to Radio Shack and ask...

I'm leaning more towards it's totalled. I don't think Bandai makes replacement parts (almost a definete no), and probably no one else can either. I would say you'll have to just buy a new Tama. But I'm not 100% sure.

I know a girl who said she dropped it on her shoe. The middle of the screen was broken. She must have been really careless...

It will be easiest to just get a new one.
Radio Shack is not really equipped to supply things like an LCD screen that will work on a Tamagotchi.

Thanks everyone. Looks like I'll have to get another -- although its kind of fun trying to keep it alive with half a screen!! I can still play bump...and jump is interesting too!

even if you could get a new screen, it's likely that it would end up cheaper getting a new tama.
