I think it'd be a good idea...to let us choose whether we want them to mate at teens or adults.
but that would become complicated. Some radical Christian orginization would file a lawsuit against Bandai saying that they're somehow encouraging teen pregnancy or-

No, because if they mated as teens then you wouldn't get to see which adult they would evolve into... and that's half the fun!
