I've been wanting to potty train my tamagotchis for a while now, but every time I start to try I end up thinking "Screw this! It doesn't really help anything!" I mean I managed to get a Mametchi and he definately wasn't potty trained.

Anyway, my frustration has spawned a few questions...

1.) Is it even possible to potty train during the Bebetchi/Shirobebetchi stage? Sure they poop a whole lot more often, but there's no warning at ALL. They just turn to the side and poop all in one move, with no wavy lines. If anybody can catch this... Geeze, you're quick.

2.) How often do you have to "catch" them before they're actually potty trained?

hmmm... i can help with the first question - i am nearly positive that it's impossible to potty train during the baby stage.. but i'm not sure how many times you have to potty train it before it's actually trained, sorry!

i've never done it. my tama is a teen now and the first time i saw the lines was just now!

Theres no "set limit", really potty training dose nothing except, increase the times he will have the "holding it in"
animation, and sometimes he will just do it on the floor. It really isn't anythin we can see has a good purpose.

The only difference is that the Tamagotchi uses a toilet/potty, rather than going on the floor. Toilet training only makes it hold it in for longer. If you leave it without selecting the Toilet icon, it will just do it's business on the floor.

Actually potty training affects the way your tamagotchi transforms if you let it poop on the floor it wilol come out lazy and a spoiled brat if you train it it will come out smart or something plus it raises the training points

i didn't potty-train my tama and it had 100% training bars and it grew-up into mametchi!!!!

Potty training does not affect the character you get, although it does make your Tamagotchi happier and that can help you get the better characters.

My tama was about to go pooh just a few minute ago. then when it had the wavy lines i just pressed the toilet button then it just sat on the toilet for a few seconds then it got happy with the little sun next to it.
