Just set it's bedtime time.
It should take it off.
Later put the normal hour and it shoulb be qithout the costume.

Just do what Muffin_Tama said. You are supposed to wait 24 hours I think. Muffin_Tama's answer probably is right. Stick with his and your tamagotchi will be out of that costume after you go to sleep or you set it do it's bedtime!
