Dragon Quest Virtual Slime Pet!

I just bought one off of EBay, since I love anything Dragon Warrior (US)/Dragon Quest (JP). I was wondering if anyone can read Japanese or has one, since the whole thing is in Japanese. It's a neat little pedometer pet... it travels to different areas in game as you walk around and evolves into different forms depending on what region it is in when it changes. I am aware of this site, but the instructions are pretty incomplete... I'm really excited; I can't wait until it comes!
