Mmmm.... never happened to me, try getting the souveniers again or if that doesn't work, try reset and downloading it.
The souvenirs are listed in order, of number from 1-32, so you may have lots of gaps in your souvenir list - giving the impression you haven't received the item. You need to use the A button to scroll through the souvenirs, you should find your missing items in there somewhere depending on their number ranking in the list!
