I just got myself a new kitten!

It's all white, with little pink ears and nose. One eye is extremely blue, whilst the other is a muted green. His tail is very short too, almost a manx.

All this, and he's cuddly and very playful!

The only downside is that the results for the Feline Leukemia test won't come back until tomorrow at 9am! If he's tested positive, then the shelter we got him from will require us to give him back (to be put down).

We're all very positive though!

I hope everything comes back neggative and you and your kitty get to spend a long time together. I had to have a kitten put to sleep because of Feline Leukemia. I'll always remember her though. My mother called her the cat from hell. Peanut would use my mothers legs as scratching posts. Also when it thundered she would race about the house with her tail puffed and her back arched like a holloween cat, and you wonder why my mother called it the cat from hell.

awwwwwwwww i hope all goes well! i got two cats called tess and polly black and white moggies very cute! we got them at 11months on sept 1st its gonna be theyre 3rd! Cats rule der soo sweet!

I just called and the test came back negative!

Now he just has to get through his first vet. visit this afternoon, and then all will be well for this kitty

i got a kitty recently too from a shelter. i was reading about cats and i read that if they have two different color eyes and one is blue they could be deaf in that ear. like if their right eye is blue then their right ear could be deaf. so make sure to do some hearing tests! i'm sure it'll be fine tho! what'd u name it? mine is Misty and she's 2. she's a modern seal-point siemese with bright blue eyes. well good luck with your cat and the testing!

I'll check out its hearing later (I'm at work right now), but that is kind of interesting. His hearing has been fine as far as I can tell, but it has a vet visit later so I'll have him check it out.

It's name is Miko "The Barbarian," btw.

The kitten is just fine. The Vet said he was "perfectly healthy," so no more worries!
