I just got a Genjintch today!

My boyfriend left for a 3 week trip through Indonesia today. But before he did...he gave me a Genjintch!!! I had no idea he bought it from Jason! I was SO thrilled about it I danced around, I've wanted one of these guys for a very long time. I'm so excited about raising it, and I'm going to post about it here, too, since there isn't a whole lot of information about them and not a whole lot of variables to log about effectively. In fact, it would probably be a rather boring log, filled with end-of-day stats and apparrently not much else. :furawatchi: BUT, I am going to yap about him here, and if any of you guys have one, I would LOVE to hear about it too!

I'm going to have my hands full, I'm currently raising Mothra, Tamagotchi Angel, 2 of my V3's(snakeskin and frogs, sticking with a theme), his graffiti V3, and now Genjintch. Boy, this takes me back about 10 years.

Genjintch the "caveman" started out the day yesterday as a little blob, but evolved after an hour into a dark colored, slightly larger blob-like thing. :mimitchi: He is very cute and quite interesting. Needs about 2 happy & hungry hearts filled approx. every 45 minutes. The game is quite similar to Mothra's Gokigen Up game, though, so it's pretty fun. Right now, he eats meat on a stick for food and different type of meat on a bone for a treat. He frequently tries to make pottery throughout the day even at this young age, and I praise him every time, so his evolution meter(replaces discipline meter) seems to be filing quickly. I'm going to try to upload and post a photo shortly.

Grr, I'm jealous. I love the old Tama's. I hate how Japan got WAY more Tamagotchi versions than the rest of the world. Oh well, I still have my P1 and P2 to look back to those days when I was 6 years old.

Genjintch just turned into a monkey. Yes a monkey. hehee I love him, its such a cute one! He has only attempted to make pottery once in the past two days, and that was just a few minutes ago. I believe the monkey is a good character thus far in the evolution, so I'm thrilled. I'm going to get a picture here shortly.

I love the original Tamagotchi every bit as much as these new ones. I love the amazing variety that came out back in 97-99. I'm going back now and collecting all the old ones I can get now as well as all the new V3s and such. In fact, over half of my 110+ Tamagotchi/virtual pet collection are old ones.

^^Yeah, he's the best. Not sure how I finally got so lucky this time! lol Hope he comes back soon...I miss him quite a lot.

I guess the skinny monkey guy is the second best adult stage character, so that's exciting! I'm surprised I got such a good character, he is needier than I expected, but definitely worth it. The sounds are similar to Mothra with the alerts, game, and button press tunes. He is 5 years old today. Perhaps I can try for a secret character?
