(Tama)baby making?

I feel a bit silly asking this question, but when exactly can a Tamagotchi mate with another Tamagotchi? My Tama is five years old, and my friend (who is signed up as 'jolly wicked' on this board) has a six year old Tama. They exchanged a few gifts already, and they're partners (they have four hearts under their names in the 'friends list'), but they haven't had Tamababies yet (they just exchanged gifts and play when we connect). So what's going on? Does Shuya (my Tama) have to be six years old too?

About a day after they become adults, tamagotchis can mate.

well with me both tamagotchis had 2 be 6. If ur friend pauses hers 4 a day then next time u connect u should get tama babies!

well in order to mate ur tama has to b an adult for atleast 72hrs then u can mate

as far as i know, Mrs. Busybody comes about at the age of 7, and thus i would guess that you can mate your tamagotchis at that time aswell.

Your Tama's don't have to be the same age, mine were 4 and 6 yrs old when they had tamababies! After 1 day of ur tamagotchis falling in luv, they should have a baby!

I tried to have a baby with my cousins tama, but we never had babies. we were both adults,we were partners,the only thing was that mine was 1 year younger than my cousins tama.Then the next day The Matchmaker cam and I married the blue tama with a pacifier/bobo.

Well, this morning at 8:16AM, jollywicked's Mametchi (Eiko) and my Mametchi (Shuya) had two baby girls. Which means your information is wrong, Tama-Sama. I had forgotten about all the pausing I had done with my Tamagotchi when he turned into an adult.
