if it has an X on it and it has a little battery sign on it, then yes, it has run out of batteries.

you mean it just turned off like you saw your tama one minute and the next nothing? if so check your gotchis baattery and tighten the panel. also if you de-bug it tighten the screws

If your tamagotchi went blank with nothing on the screen, your battery has probably run out. If you see a blinking X that means that your battery is low. If you change the battery and there is still a blank screen, make sure that all the screws are tightened. If this doesn't work, you might want to bring it back to the store you got it from and tell customer service what happened or you may want to contact BanDai.
