is one a girl and one a boy?If so,it also might be that they are so far apart.Remember,try and be patient.Keep connecting too.Youll know if they like each other because they will be kissing when you go to present.Also tell me the characters they are.Hope I helped! :furawatchi:

 
Well, it depends when the tamagotchi turned into an adult. Adult tamagotchis can officially mate after both of them have been adults for atleast a day. If one tamagotchi is 3 and the other is 8 mating won't work because one tamagotchi is way older than the other. If you want to mate the tamagotchis they need to be about the same age.

 
To mate with another tamagotchi you need to connect alot Its faster if you just use the lovepotion. First you use it then your friend uses it and then they'll have a baby!
