My Tamagotchi Connections are now at Marutchi-status. I tried to connect them but I keep getting the Stand-By thing. It doesn't even say if it has failed or not. Do I have to put both tamagotchis on the Stand-by screen or only one? I'm a bit confused and have consulted the instruction manuel...

Yes, you have to put both of them on Stand By. Once you get ot the stand by screen, you have to press B on one or both Tamagotchis. The screen will say Proceed if the connection was successful, or Failed if it wasn't.
