I might sing at my graduation with my best friend and another girl in front of lots of people! WE HAVE TO CHOOSE A SONG! I CANT SING IN FRONT OF PEOPLE even though it might be my big break! Help me without getting stagefright! *shivers*

I am only in Grade 6 and have been in at least one concert (except this school year for now) ever since Grade 1 and I just pretend I am either in the music room with the "cast" or at home saying my lines to myself outloud but there is nothing to be afraid of

If you do and this might be your "big break" and your singing with friends you should have nothing to be afraid of yett we do all ave our weakneses so noone can tease you.

ya true mimitchi7 BUT last time i sung with my friends infront of my mum i was so embarrassed I fainted. (not litterally but i did go red for hours)

awwww, don't be embarrased!!! Show buisness is just all about entertainment! If you fall, or something, make them laugh! And you'll laugh too. BUt it's ok to be nurvous. I alwayse am. Just do your very best and nothing will go wrong.

I assume your family will be there, or at least your parent(s)? Find out where they are in the audience, and act is though you're singing to them. Ignore the other people and just focus mainly on them. Also, try not to eat anything before you go on, and drink only water. If your stomach feels queezy try some saltines or sprite. The salt and carbonation can help settle a stomach. Most importantly, just try to relax. Think calm thoughts before you go on and while you're singing, and you should be fine.

Believe you can do it. With your friends you can dominate everything.

It might seem scary when you walk up to sing, but when the music plays, you don't feel as nervous anymore. You know that everyone wants to hear you sing, and you know your good.

My only advice is believe you can do it. I did that and it worked.
