Maybe you used the love potion and the tamas fell in love.
OR you could have mistaken the best friends level of friendship for the partner level of friendship.
The best frinds relationship is four smileys and the partner relationship is four hearts. So I can see how you can get confused.

I have a v1 and my friend too. She got a boy tamagotchi and I have girl. They are both adults. Why cant they have babies? We have tried sooo many times.
