all i keep hearing is these microscopic beeps. not loud ones like you would here if you pressed a buttonm, but ones you can only hear if you put the tamagotchi up to your ear! should i be worried or is that some kind of staging process?

That is normal and happens to all tamagotchis

Those sound you hear is to keep your tamagotchi running. Not every thing in the world works silently. Like your clock in the tamagotchi. Its ticking.

Yup, you could call it the clock working and going beep beep beep for every second or just like me and a lot of people, call it a heart beat.
