Do you have internet exploer 7? I do and it's really useful because now I don't need multiple windows open any more I just use the tabs!!! ^_^ I love it and it has this really cool futureistic look about it.

I've got both IE7 and Firefox (long story). Takes a little bit to get used to the new layout of IE7 as I did like having my menu bar! However, I think it is an improvement overall.

I have got firefox!

p.s This is the least people on I have ever seen!!

I'm a FireFox user. In my opinion, I think it is better than IE. But I haven't really used IE7 (I haven't even bothered updating), so I can't really judge.. But I am use to FireFox and it is really easy and friendly. ^_^

FireFox had tabbed browsing before IE.. Tabbed browsing is one of my fav. features. It really is such a clever idea.

Yeah I have to admit that was one aspect that I was happy to see implemented. IE7 has introduced a textless system so there is no menu bar as such. They are replaced small icons with drop down menus that allow for greater viewing area of the webpage.

https://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx (Internet Explorer 7 Homepage)

If you do a mouse-over of the tabs on this page you'll get to see a preview of what I am attempting to describe.

I think the most difficult thing for me to get used to is the location of the favourites menu... I wouldn't mind seeing IE7 use firefox's idea with the quick link buttons for specific favourites in the future too. It did also take me a while to find where to clear the temporary internet files. ^_^ I am supposed to be computer literate but this icon thing... :D

I got use to the feature of IE7 really quickly as in I only upgraded yesterday and I feel right at home!!! But then again I practically live on the internet!!! (lol) ^_^

No.

My computer is running IE7

I've disabled the tabs. They take up too much room on my screen. I'd rather see that much more of the page I'm viewing.

I've also hidden the menubar (File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, Help).

Also, I've customize the toolbar so only icons for functions I regularly use are shown (favorites, tools, email).

I don't need my browser to look like a 747 airplane cockpit with so many buttons and controls.

All of the computers in my house run internet explorer.

My dad uses both Mozilla FireFox and Internet Explorer on his computer.

Eh I don't seem to like FireFox as much as I do Internet Explorer.

We have three computers in my house.

My laptop, my dads computer, my brothers computer.

Although my brothers computer keeps breaking, so practically only two that work.

But all of them have Internet Explorer. ;)

i used to have IE7 but i had to get rid of it....gave my computer viruses o_O . So now i just use IE. I did have Mozilla FireFox a long time ago but it was hard for my mom to figure out so i just downloaded the IE one again.

How did IE7 give you viruses it's supposed to have in creased internet security?

My mom hates FireFox X3 I put it on our PC before I went on vacation(Pre-Nov 1) and she *still* can't figure it out. Last night she kept bugging me about it, but I've heard a few bad things about the new IE having glitches and viruses, so I wont re-download it.

I also use Opera once in a great while.

One thing I like about Firefox is you can have as many home pages as you want. I have three that come up everytime I open the browser. TamaTalk, Myspace, and Blogagotchi.

Yes, my Dad seems to enjoy downloading browsers, and never using them. :D

I'm the newer version of Firefox user - I really like it, I always considered it better than IE. It loads fast, and its safe, easy to use, and I don't need tons of windows.

IE7 is OK, although it took AGES to open, and I only use it to go on my school's website, because Firefox won't figure it out. :) However, I always find that IE makes the computer freeze, and it closes down on its own with freewebs and youtube...

I have tried Opera, and it wasn't bad, but still not half as good as Firefox.

As for Netscape, it just never loads, the loading screen appears, goes, and nothing... :furawatchi:

I had Netscape for a while x.x' I hated it.

Opera is good if you're not doing anything that has a lot of Flash or video on it. If you have a lot of video sites or sites with a lot of moving animation it'll freeze.

IE closes on it's own on my computer. The most I can do is check my hotmail and then it shuts down. If I try to go to a site other than a direct link it'll shut itself down and give me an error screen.

I haven't tried IE7, but with the memories of IEs 3-6 and rumors of viruses, I probably never will o_O' My computers have had enough problems lol.
