Don't get hung up about this "bad/good care" stuff. For every person that said they got a Masktchi by neglecting their tama there is always another who will tell you they got Masktchi by looking after theirs perfectly! There is no consistent way to judge a character outcome by care but there are a lot of people out there who fall prey to these rumours.

Many say if you like it, it's good. If you don't, it's bad. As Bell Sprout said, don't get hung up about it.
You can make s/he come from semi-bad to bad care... for me. On Tamagotchi Generation 1 you can get Masukutchi/Masktchi from perfect care as a child, then neglect as a teenager according to Kat from Mimitchi.com.

Masktchi and Gozarutchi are my true favourite characters, it is so unfair that these two have been so rudely labelled. Masktchis are nice, enjoy having your little chap and you will see that under all these rumors, he really is a cutie.

Besides Tarakotchi
Masktchi is very emtional. He/she doesn't act like a regular adult. He is emtionally unstable. Gozarutchi acts like Masktchi. There weird but I love them
