I just got a new giga pet. It is a dog. I also have a tamagotchi but when I cometo school with my tamagotchi they say its a childish toy that 3 yr olds play with. anyway how do you turn off the giga pet?

There is no way to turn it off. You can put it in school for part of the day or put it to sleep for a while, but that's about it.
