I received my ocean today and decided to start it even though I may nto be able to take full care of it in a few days (if it lives that long). I couldn't resist, it's so gorgeous, clear with the waves and tama surfers. I have a morino, and right off I noticed some big differences. The umino has sound more similar to the osutchi and mesutchi tamagotchis, and its buttons are as responsive as a connection (not so with morino). I know it's super needy, but it's so beautiful... I also noticed that it does have discipine in addition to predators, not so with morino. The game isn't too hard except for when the octopus comes, and the hearts deplete... that's a pain. Who here has an ocean? Anyone want to share?

I do not have an ocean. Just recently off eBay i borght a angelgotchi and another keitai. That wasted all my money for the moment. But, soon as i get some money, i am going to buy either a mesu/osu pair or a Ocean.
I have also heard that oceans are E X T R E E M A L Y needy! Thats why i want one, to see how needy it is and see if i can make it live. For when i get my one, do you have any tips?

So far it's as needy as my angel was after about 3 weeks. It's still in the toddler stage, and has been attacked twice. It's really not so bad, so far. We'll see how it goes. I do recommend you get a morino, those are awesome.

I just bought a Umino Tamagotchi of Ebay.I hear that they are needy,but exactly how needy are they?

Umino and TamaOceans are very needy. I always pause mine when I'm not going to be around it for more than 15 minutes.
But when you do pause it NEVER advance the time, just continue from where it was paused.
It knows when the time is being advanced.

The Umis have this thing for dying for no reason too. Advancing the time gives it more of a chance of dying for no reason.
But they are very nice tamagotchis. The game play is great and the characters are sweetly cute!

I just got my one. Infact, i started a thread here somewhere about it.
I am at the jellyfish stage, and it is needy like a 20year old P1/P2. Its really hard, yet changgeling, so its very exciting.

I dont want a tamagotchi ocean they seem way too hard from what I have heard.
