Well I was at school while this happend but whatever. Ok, My mom went to Wal-Mart today and when she asked for a Wii, they said they sold the lsat one 10 minutes ago!!! If my mom (I'm not blaming her) went straight to the electronics instead of searching for some other stuff, we would've gotten a Wii!!!! :angry: This means next time I have a better chance!!! WOO!!!! :angry:

got any stories of getting a Wii? Waiting in line? etc?

 
i would just wait a month an the price would drop a lot firstly and also it would be in like every store. thats just me but i don't want a wii in the first place so its all good!

 
Yesterday I got a Wii ^___^

My mom, my friend, and left the house at quarter to 8am and went to the mall. EBgames was out and Gamestop sold the last one while I was in line. We went to Sears and they didn't have any.

Mom suggested we go to Target. When we got there there was a line of people waiting. I asked the person in front of me and they said they only have two left. I was about to leave and then I heard the store manager say, 'Ok. This is what we're gonna do!' I'm like, 'We're gonna do something? *stays to listen*. The two they had left were someone's reserves. They were told to pick them up by 830 or they'd be sold. It was about 9 at this point. They decided they would raffle off the two left X3

My mom, Pepper, and I each got a ticket. Pepper's was the first one they called <3333 They called her number and she just held it up. I started jumping on her screaming ^.^' We went up, bought it and had to be escorted out of the store to not get jumped, lol.

The whole way home I was cuddling the box. I put a bite mark in the side xP

Right now it's sitting on my floor. It's supposed to be for Christmas so my mom's rule is this, 'You can look at it, you can touch it, but if you open it, I'm gonna kill you.' XD

Pepper framed the winning ticket. It's in a frame with pink lambs, lol.

The price isn't going to drop for at least a year. Wii's are at extremely high demand. 360's aren't as high demand anymore, and their prices still range from $300-$400USD They've been out over a year.

Prices on systems don't drop for at least 2 years. The gamecube has been the same price since it came out.

Lawl.. I havent had a hard time getting my Wii, I ordered one two months ago, But they had none left when They dealt with my Order on the 8th December.. But, I have an Email saying it had been processed ^^^, which means they are sending it soon, Otherwise they wouldn't have sent an Email ^^^.

It should arrive by Christmas! Yey! I'll post Piccies.. Maybe.

 
I don't want a Wii but for Christmas I want a Nintendo DS but anyway:

When my family went to a local electronic store called On-Off (silly name, I know) and my brother asked them if they had Wii's and the man said that they had got a few but they were sold out pretty quick.

Yesterday me and my father went back and then they had a whole shelf with Wiis, which I found quite odd because they had sold them out just a week before.

And today I went to EB Games and they had a pile of Wiis just outside the store(it's locared in a one-floor-mall so it's not really outside ;P) so I have to guesses: either have the stores just piled up empty boxes or Sweden has got a huge shipping of Wiis just before Christmas. :D I choose to believe my second guess.

I'm guessing they were just empty boxes. All the stores around here have LOADS of them x.x It's kind of deceiving I think.
