rebecros: That is completely normal. Boomboxes only go BOOM (hahaha.. no? ok.) on v4's, so dont worry about it.

On the V3 you can log onto TamaTown and get codes for your Tamagotchi.

There are 7 codes on a v3 opposed to 5 on a v2. V3 can interact with the virtual world of Tamagotchi Town via passwords. There you can visit your family and collect souvenirs. You can donate Gotchi Points to the Gotchi King who in turn will give you souvenirs and a special surprise (!). There are 4 choices of foods that are available at any time. Finally, there are plenty of old characters, allowing you to re-enjoy the days of Mesutchi and Osutchi with all of the recycled characters! There are around 4 new characters, including Mimiyoritchi and Decotchi.
