Ball?

Well my Tamagotchis died so I had to restart them.When the baby hatched I played some games with it.Then I bought a fishing rod and a chest.I used the fishing rod and my tama caught a fish and it let me use the rod again.I selected the fishing rod (again) and my tama got 500 coins.So after using the rod I selected the chest and I got a throne.I pressed C to get out of items and fed my tama.I wanted to see if any of my previous food items were still there.Then I saw the word ball (with the toy ball picture) so I pressed B.Then my tama started eating a very small round thing (smaller than the toy ball) in a small dish.

Yes, this is a glitch. My theory is that the Tamagotchi looses memory/ track count of some of the items and food you have stored. So the food item is replaced with the 'ball' your Tamagotchi can still eat.
