So I was on Gaia, perusing the forums, when all of a sudden, BAM.

In their signature (on Gaia, you can post images instead of having to link to them), there was this horrifying image of a girl with dark eyes and a creepy, demonic smile.

I yelled and flipped my head back so I wouldn't have to look at the image. Bad idea, because my head hit the back of my chair really hard. Now I have a huge bump on the back of my head and it hurts! In addition, I'll never be able to forget that picture.

*cries* Has anybody else had a scary-image experience? (Good thing TT has a rule against shockers and prank games, eh?)

Ah, how scary sounding!

Just think of other things, I know it might be hard, but try and forget about it.

Eventually you'll forget. But remember, that image, is just an image, and nothing that could actually find you and hurt you.

You'll forget, trust me, you'll forget eventually, until then I wish you the best of luck with forgeting it.

As for your head, a pack of ice and maybe a Motrin or something like that oughta numb it down a bit, atleast it usually does for me.

:) CBD :D

Agreed. It's only an image. It cannot hurt you :)

But I wish I could forget....ever since seeing the Grudge I'm scared to go upstairs alone, or in the basement alone; and I'm scared to look in mirrors and I'm scared of closets. v.v I watched that movie two years ago, and I still can't forget it. Trust me: I cannot forget. But you shall. :D

Hehe, your afraid of closets, because of the Grudge. Wow, sorry I find that odd, but maybe it's odd to me because I have never seen that movie.

I have never even seen a scary movie now that I think about it...

I am afraid of ghosts and things like that because I creep myself out by watching these shows on things like that on the Discovery Channel. :D

Thanks guys, you're amazing. *hugs*

It's not so much my being afraid that it'll hurt me is that it's not going to get out of my mind. The image has appeared before, and I've yelled and dove under the desk, but this is the first time that something has actually made me clumsily inflict harm on myself.

We're amazing 'cause we're cool like that. :D

No, lol, just a joke there.

Like I said, some ice, and a Motrin oughta kill the pain a bit.

Look at me, I said a bit, wow thats new. :)

Anyways, good luck.

What works for me (i DO NOT recommend this but): When i see somthing like that, i go look at it again. Now don't get mad at me but after i see it again, i get used to it. and when i think about it, it is not scary anymore.

But what i do tell people to do is when you are not doing anything, like lying in bed going to sleep, when your mind is free and you might think about it, think about somthing else and focus REALLY hard on it. But i think you will soon forget about it. :)

eerrm..ya i've seen the grudge too...traumatived me (not the serious kind) for like 2 weeks. yes my relatives send me tricck "jokes" like that. i call them sick cruel pranks. let's say you're playing a maze game with your mouse guiding the little dude in the maze. then it says if u touch the wall "you'll pay". well that wonderful (sarcasm) little game causes u to get really close to the computer..and then BANG! out pops the exorcist. pretty scary. i saw that, screamed for about 5 seconds straight, ran out of the computer room and began to shake. a lot. then i woke up my mom 4rm her nap (even if she was going to yell at me) and told her what had happened. then we had a phone call and settled it.

then i got an email about ghosts 4rm that relative. the 1st few pictures weren't that bad, but thn it got to a really scary one where a girl isjust all black and white, head cocked to the side, eyes black, and a demonic smile. holding a freaky doll in her right hand, like weilding a knife about to stab you.

i talked to that relative and they told me all that stuff is just photoshop junk or people dressed in costumes. i partially believed it, but it did make me a little better.

so u think u've had a bad experience like that? well i guess it was pretty bad, hitting ur head and all. i think you shouldn't run/jump around a lot (causes a major headache) and put some ice on it, maybe take a little headache medicine. :D hope i helped.

scary... when your pulse rises when it happens...

I was watching a video of a Greenday song but someone said it had a subliminal message in it (You might know the song "Minority") and at the end when they said they were going to play it backwards a really scary face came up and it looked smudged kind of... It was VERY scary

The same thing happened when I thought I was watching a Steve Irwin tribute.

I was so scared

Thanks guys, you're amazing. *hugs*

o___O That must have been a VERY scary image...

There was a part in the movie 'The Descent' that scared me so badly that I don't think I ever have or will be able to be in a car without being scared again :kuribotchi: Gah, scary movies.
