Yes you can pause an infra red Tama...I know nothing about FAKE infa red tamas but anywayz...press buttons "a" and "b" at the same time or hold down "a" and then begin holding down the "b" button.

Is the little arrow B and the big arrow A?

 
No im sorry.A and b are the buttons on your tama.The a button is on the very left and the b button is the one in the middle.I hope i helped!

 
Do you mean those touch screen ones? If you do, then no, sorry. But you can turn the sound off.
