Weird present

I looked at my tama and he was asleep, then I loooked a way for 3min then there was a present. I wanted to open it buy my tama wouldnt let me . Does anybody know what is going on..did anyone get a present like this before..this happen on xmas eve....

i didnt get anything, wether on v3 nor v4, but theyre both teens only right now

You just missed the Santa Claus seasonal animation. At 10:30 PM on Christmas eve*, the lights will come on, Santa Claus will fall down the screen, leave a present, then disappear. The lights will stay on for a few minutes longer, then automatically turn off again.

You can not open the present. None of the buttons are active during this animation. Also, the present won't be there in the morning. Maybe the whole animation is what your Tamagotchi character is dreaming about.

If you want to see it again, you can set your Tamagotchi's clock to December 24, 10:29 PM then wait one minute. Afterwards, don't forget to set the clock back to the real time.

(* Note: Japanese model Tamagotchis such as EnTama and UraTama also have this animation but it occurs at midnight as Christmas eve turns into Christmas day.)
