IE7...

Well my mom just downloaded this morning (Some poll she uses finally has become compatible with IE7) And I found it uderly confusing......

Whats the UPS and DOWNS of this new version? Is it confusing to you? Just wondering...

The downs are that it is more vunerable to viruses and i know that from experiencing

Ugh, IE gets so many pop ups.

I use FireFox.

I have a Pop Up Blocker, XD and McFee Anti Virus+Spyware scanner

Initially it takes a little bit to get used to.. If you are having difficulty because you don't have the usually menu bar with "File" etc. you can renable that by going to Tools > Menu Bar.

I'm not sure I like the layout of the favourites particularly but I will get used to that.

Biggest problem I have is getting popups to popup when I want and others just to invent a new tab.

The tabbing is something that I definately like... takes less time to load a new tab than to open a new window which is something I do a lot of on TamaTalk when sorting threads.

It is a fairly radical change for Internet Explorer but I believe in time we will adjust.

I know! Every time I want to insert a hyper link, it blocks it, and I have to click the information bar every time!!! I hate Internet Explorer 7 soooooo much- it's too complicated!

IE7 gave me viruses now im just using regular old IE
