giga pet explorer ... need HELP!

My daughter got the giga pet explorer game for Christmas we can't find garden book 2 .. we tried what someone else suggested which was digging near the well by peet the monkey but when we took it back to the king he just gave us a bag of stuff NO BOOK..... anyone know ???

any help would be greatly appreiciated... we are very frustrated and my daughter is upset that we can't get any further in the game

You have to collect all of the king's items. I believe that there are 10 in all. The last of his items that you give him, he will give you the second garden book. To get the first garden book, you have to find the lady in the beach who has the flower garden. The object is to collect all of the flowers, and then go to the spaceship on magma mountain. Then you can change your color permanently. (instead of just using the potions to change temporarily)

First off i just want to thank you so very much for replying it's been driving me crazy going through this game and trying to find someone that has played it .. so i thank you.. right now it seems like im just doing quest after quest and not really getting anywhere .. i just checked and i have 11 items in the throne room so im not sure how many more there is to get and where to find them.... i've read the signs and the maps and went to all those places again to see if ive missed something ... im lost ... i have the first book .. and there is still like 3 flowers that i can't pick .. and i've already done enough quests to open magna mountain too so that is why im so lost at this point .. i'm sure it's something really simple that i've missed but i have no clue .. thank you for replying and i will keep looking ...
