Different forums have different reasons for doing things - it really depends on what suits them.
But TamaChat on here works very well and luckliy is well-moderated and looked after - hopefully for all users' benefit it will be back up and running soon.

Are We Still alowed in? I've noticed that the link to TC is still on. Maybe The Giudes Should close TC down so members that hevent read toy Notice will not click the link. aka, Disalbe link, or remove; if not already.

No, I'm afraid not. I wouldn't advise clicking, though, as it's in my favourites, I clicked it, and this annoying pop-up kept coming up and wouldn't go away! Grrr, pop-ups!

A little bit of clarification here to avoid confusion... Chat is down right now not to add features... Though I have that on my to-do list (but no idea when to expect it)...

Instead it is down because it usually stays so busy that it starts to tie up the database for the forums. Right now we are in a busy period fore the forums and so chat was (I think) bringing everything down. I closed it to test this theory out. It will not be closed forever... Just until I am confortable knowing it isn't affecting the forums and everything else on the TT server.

Sorry for not explaining this earlier.
