baby and adult tamagotchi

do baby tamagotchi grow up to become the exact same breed as their parents?

Usually not. Even if you take exact same care of the baby as you did for the parent, because one is in an even generation number, and the other is in an odd generation number, the baby will usually turn into a different adult character.

Sometimes, but you have a better chance of getting some other character, because the gen. # will be even if the adult's # was odd, and odd if the adult's # was even.

If you have a mamitchi, for example, its baby would be a mimitchi with the same care. Next generation you could get a mamitchi again.

Usually Not :o It depends on how you take care of it. If you took excellent care of the mother, and it was a memetchi for example, and you took poor care of the child, it would grow up to me a gozarotchi. If you took excellent care of both generations, they might grow up to be the same.

Try expeirementing, by taking different levels of care for each gen. Have fun! And see what new breeds you can see!
