i don't know if you saw the link to Jewel's map... ( from gigapet strategy post) it's not terribly legible, but it's helpful and you can see where the fortune teller is.

 
if you looked on the map it would tell you where it is... (beside the good area, behind the store )

go to the general store , inside the store take door to the left.... (my kid got lost).. says take a left into the back yard.. (she's lost again)

 
Go out the door all the way to the left in the health store. Go to the right until you see two posts. Go thru these. Go left to the building. Go in and fortune teller is on the right.
