My V3 tama is a child, and in his meal (or was it snack) menu, he has the option to eat a ball. Weirder yet, I never bought the ball....

oh ohhh!!!! yeah, that happend to me too! Whenever my tama dies I looked in the snacks and there were 5 balls!

I'd say, trash them by going to the book icon and selecting 'Present' and select 'Food' and select the ball. It should prompt you 'Wrap?' press (A) and it should say 'Trash?' Press (
