Question on sleeping and aging...

Hi. I'm obviously very new at Tamagotchi, and I'm getting a bit peeved at my Tamagotchi, who isn't even a year old yet. I want her to reach the adolescent stage. Now. But I can wait a bit longer before I start throwing it against a wall. So I want to ask a few things...

1) Will she age while she sleeps?

2) If the answer to the above is 'yes', if she reaches the point where she's supposed to go to the next stage, will she do it when she wakes up at her usual time, or wake up in the middle of the night to do so? If it's the latter, will she automatically go back to sleep, with the lights automatically turning off?

3) And on the same note, what happens if I keep the light on while she tries to sleep? Same with if I turn the lights off while she's awake.

Sorry about all the questions, but I don't want to end up with a dead Tama on my hands.

Hey, I might be able to help you out! After you hatch your tamagotchi, About an hour later it turns into is adolecent stage. It will poop a couple times, Take a nap, want to play and EAT ALOT during its first hour. SO be sure to be right there most of the time. After it evolves it will become less dependent and wont need as much attention. And yes it ages while it sleeps. I hope i helped you out!

That does help a bit. The only thing I'm worried about is what might happen if it's supposed to become a teen and is sleeping. Chances are, she'll stay asleep until her regular time to be awake, then grow up. But if she does wake up to evolve, will the lights turn off automatically so she can sleep again?

...One more thing. Just to make sure, do any of the teen tamagotchis wake up before 5:00 AM? Yes, I get up pretty early.

If its supposed to become a teen while it sleeps, It will do one of two things. Wake up automatically or as soon as it wakes up it will age. Sleeping does not affect its growth at all So dont worry h34r:

adolecenct meens teenager not toddler it takes about 2 to 3 days to get 1

Tey definatly don't wake up before 5 am! sleep is good u no! normally about 8 or 9 am. <_<

They get more sleep than me then... lol! Mine went to sleep at 8pm, so if she doesn't wake up til 8am or 9am then I'll be very happy!!!
