HELP!

Hi. My friend dropped my tamagotchi in the sink... It sort of broke. Well not really broke... the sound still works but the picture will not come up. See my friend had a hanatchi on a REALLY high generation and I would really like to fix it for her. Hers is a pink sparkleie one and its her faveorit one. So if you guyz could mabe tell me how to fix it. I opened the front where the screen was and i took the background peice and dried it the best i could. But wile i was drying it i couldnt rember the CORRECT way to put it in with the rest of the peices. So if you guyz that have survived a water accident then could you plez tell me what you did?
