hi, i've been reading a lot in tamatalk.com's tamagotchi warnings. I'm from the Philippines and I'm just wondering whether my Tamagotchi v.3 is fake or not. By one article here, It says that a real BanDai Tamagotchi should have a tamagotchi connection logo on the packaging, mine does not. It only says Tamagotchi and under it written is ver. 3. On the Tamagotchi itself, the initials TMGC is written...Is it fake? Please help me...I've been accesing at tamatown.com for a while and everything seem to be what it said in the instruction sheet. Please PM me if you would want to help me by looking at some pictures of the tamagotchi and it's packaging. Thanks a lot.

Hmmm.... I think it might be fake. A real tama should have the Bandai logo on the packaging, and on the tama itself it should say "Tamagotchi" or Tamagotchi Connection." Can you tell me more about your tama?

there is a bandai logo on the packaging..i bought it in a famous toy store in the philippines. there is no ring like the ones i saw in tamatown but there is a sort of like a plastic chain. only the initials TMGC are written on top unlike other tamagotchis. But when I bought this one, I saw many other Tamagotchi's there on the toy store that has designs like the ice cream and glow in the dark v.3's. Mine's pink with flowers on the side. please reply, i've been enjoying mine until i saw some notes here on tamatalk. thanks.

Really you went to another country and got it? You shouldn't do that because you don't know if they have been released there. Does it work though? If it does then you can keep it. But don't buy any more. :pochitchi:

yes, it works. We went to the philippines for a visit, then i saw tamagotchis for sale in toy's r us and in toy kingdom. these are the famous toy shops in the philippines. toy's r us is just new here, they opened one just a month ago. t' was the very first one.we went to a mall, then i bought my tama in toy kingdom. they were 999.95 pesos each. almost 20 dollars. maybe it' a philippine release or something, that's what i'm not sure about.

Is it compatible with tamatown and can it connect with other tamas?
