What would have you done?

I had just got off my register when a father came up and asked me if we stocked tamagotchis, I told him that Walmart hasn't been able to get a hold of them since X-mas. He seen my tamagotchis and asked me if they were mine and I replied that they were. He then started offering to buy them from me for $30 each. Even though I would have made profit I kept by my tamagotchis side and told him I couldn't sell them but I did tell him places where he could try on the internet. I could never sell them to anyone. Shiuld I have sold them to him? I wouldn't do it but I'm curious what other members would have done in this situation.

I would've told him to go elsewhere. The way you described him made him seem really desperate, though. On the other hand, who is he to start heckling with you for your Tamagotchi?

well...i'd do what u did and tell him places on the internet...i would NEVER sell my tama even if it is old and beat up!i love em too much

He was desperate his kids kept watching mine like they were an expensive diamond or something. It didn't bother me all that much I just told him I wasn't interested. I've had a lot of parents ask me where I found mine and I tell them, the internet. I got lucky and got my Pearlized Lavender in a Toys R Us that had only two left, mine and a a dark purple. I was planning on buying both but my mother was giving me evil looks for the one and I decided between the two. Its hard to find them now days.-sigh-

I would have told anybody to go to Ebay and get someone else's Tamagotchi.

I chose "Maybe if he offered me more." That's because my tama is brand-new and I've got a Hinotamatchi. If he had offered more than $30, I would have accepetd, because I could buy a v2 or something with that kind of money.

Interesting point Newbiekidlex, but for me I have a paying job so when the v2 come out I can just buy one.

i chose i wouldnt sell....sounds like he is one of those annoying people. he shouldnt have been bothering u about ur tamagotchis, u were a innocent bystander in the situation he should not have been pestering u about ur property. i would never sell my tama, not even 4 a 100$. sounds like that guy was tryin to get 1 for his child. im glad u didnt sell ur tamagotchis.

He wasn't being to bad because I said no he asked me where he could get them. I felt a little sorry for him. His children must be driving him up the wall for him to ask to buy them off me.
