on my v4 tamagotchi i keep getting itchigotchi!! does anybody know why?

You should make sure your tamagotchi is high in a different skill! Just like everyone else said treat your tamagotchi better or worser.

omg that happened 2 me but with ponitchi and tosakatchi I HATE THAT LIKE HECK!!
i reset my tam and it evolved into a much CUTER one SEBIRETCHI <3 after this i got a new v4
and then i saw it dead
but then when i pressed a+c
ringotchi...then
i got a MIMITCHI!!
and my new v4 was a hinotamatchi then a shimashimatchi!

Try taking care of it differently. Instead of concentrating on pencil points for example, concentrate on something else. You might be taking care of it the exact same way every time you have a Tama!

yes, i've heard people say that different games give different skills. try raising more of a specific skill : intellectual (pencil), arts (star) or social (flower) :furawatchi:
